This walking tour covers the stretch of North 5th Street between Lehigh Ave and Allegheny Ave in the Eastern North neighborhood of Philadelphia. Highlights include the locations of the Mann Recreation Center, the Admiral Theater (a famous Philadelphia entertainment spot for neighborhood residents in the 1920s), Taller Puertorriqueño, and more.

"Well I used to come out in the parade because I was a baton twirler when I was 12. And I remember we would go down the street and then we would come out in the parade. And then we would walk down 5th Street all the way to 5th and Erie. Then when we got to Erie, everybody would burst to different places. Before, in each corner on Indiana there was a bar and they would have people outside singing with their drums. It was beautiful. Oh my god. So everybody would gather up in 3rd and Indiana with their flags. It was beautiful. It was beautiful."

"Bueno, yo solía salir en el desfile porque era batutera cuando tenía 12 años. Recuerdo que íbamos por la calle y luego salíamos en el desfile. Y luego caminábamos por la calle 5 hasta la 5ª y Erie. Luego, cuando llegábamos a Erie, todos fueron a diferentes lugares. Antes, en cada esquina de Indiana había un bar y tenían gente fuera cantando con sus tambores. Era hermoso. Dios mío. Entonces todo el mundo se reunía en la 3ª e Indiana con sus banderas. Era hermoso. Era hermoso."
