Mural: Family Interrupted

700 W Dauphin Street

Davis mural .jpg

There is a mural on Germantown Avenue at the corner of 7th and Dauphin Street called Family Interrupted. This mural was painted by Eric Okdeh in 2012 through the Mural Arts Foundation.

It represents the struggles families face when a loved one is incarcerated. The mural features QR codes that lead to audio clips of people sharing their personal stories related to the impact of incarceration on their families and communities. There is also a website associated with the mural: familyinterruptedproject.com.
